It’s been a while since I was allowed to take some business portraits of the managing director Stefanie Brandes in Oberursel. The shooting took place in March 2019.
I had accompanied the Solamento annual meeting at Club Aldiana in Salzkammergut Austria Bad Mitterndorf at the end of 2018. There I met the sympathetic managing director Mrs. Stefanie Brandes.
Stefanie Brandes took over as managing director in November 2018, focusing on marketing, sales, yield and pricing. Since 2001, she has held various management positions in sales and marketing within Thomas Cook GmbH. I was given the opportunity to document the everyday work of a managing director in the tourism industry in a freelance assignment.
Business portraits of a managing director
The standard business photos or press photos of people in the management level are often provided with a gray, white background. My goal was to record Mrs. Brandes as she really is, sympathetic, open and very cordial, that’s how I perceived her. I also wanted to transport this personality in the pictures and photograph you as the managing director once in your own premises.
